the thing about doodling with a sharpie is that it’s so PERMANENT. i can’t erase anything, change my mind, or go back; everything just happens onto the page. it’s like a stream-of-conscious map of my mind.
which means, i guess, that my mind is tangled up with a city full of rain and flowers.
